Expectations from Parents
Welcome to the official website of GD Public School.
Expectations from Parents
At GD Public School, we believe in a collaborative approach where parents play a vital role as co-educators in shaping their child’s character, discipline, and moral values. To create a harmonious and effective learning environment, we expect parents to adhere to the following guidelines:
Role as Co-Educators
Actively participate in molding your child’s character by instilling discipline, moral values, and encouraging regular English conversation at home to enhance language skills.
Access to School Premises
Entry into the school premises is permitted only after proper verification of credentials through the Parent ID card issued by the school.
Dress Code for Parents
Parents are expected to follow a modest dress code while visiting the school. Clothing such as pedal-pushers, Bermuda shorts, or tight-fitting/suggestive attire is discouraged as it can be distracting or inappropriate for the school environment.
Respect for Teachers
Avoid criticizing teachers or the school in front of your child or other parents, as it undermines respect for educators. Genuine concerns about a teacher should be submitted as a written complaint to the school authorities for appropriate action. Parents found humiliating or insulting teachers may be asked to withdraw their child from the school.
Grievance Communication
Use written communication to address grievances or problems with the school authorities. Avoid using the school premises as a venue for airing grievances. Parents organizing disruptive actions or involving the media to defame the school will be asked to withdraw their child immediately.
Support for Academic Progress
Ensure your child is regular in studies, completes assignments on time, and receives nutritious and healthy food for tiffin along with a napkin.
Communication with the School
Inform the school promptly of any changes in your address, contact details, or workplace information in writing to both the class teacher and school office.
Open Communication with Principal/School
If you require any assistance or have concerns regarding your child’s well-being, feel free to communicate with the Principal or school staff without hesitation.
